City facilities closure extended through January 31

There has been an increase in COVID-19 transmission in the East Metro and across the state. As a result, in the interest of protecting the safety and health of our citizens and employees, city facilities will be closed the public effective Monday, November 23, 2020 through Sunday, January 31, 2021 (this date was extended from the original date of January 4). Facilities that will be closed include City Hall, Public Works, the Discovery Center, and facilities such as warming houses, etc. The only exception is the Police Department, which will remain open to the public.

City staff are available by phone and email to assist with essential services. Residents are encouraged to access city services online when able at

Oakdale public meetings including City Council and commission meetings are broadcast live on Channel 16 and on the City of Oakdale’s YouTube Channel. Instructions for virtual participation in city meetings will be posted with meeting materials.
