Absentee/Early Voting

Absentee/early voting begins Friday, September 23 and closes Monday, November 7. More information about absentee/early voting can be found on the Washington County website.

  • Washington County Offices at Woodbury Central Park
  • Oakdale City Hall
  • Headwaters Service Center

Absentee/Early Voting Hours

Oakdale City Hall will serve as an absentee/early voting center for ballot drop off and in-person voting. the hours for absentee/early voting are:

  • Monday through Friday, September 23 to November 4: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Saturday, November 5: 8 AM to 3 PM
  • Monday, November 7: 8 AM to 5 PM

2022 Oakdale General Election Information

The City of Oakdale will have elections for two City Council Member seats and the Mayor seat. VIEW 2022 OAKDALE CANDIDATES


Polling Information

On general election day (Tuesday, November 8), voters must go to the polling place assigned to their home address and respective precinct to vote.

Voters can also find their polling location by address through the State of Minnesota Polling Place Finder. Polling places are open from 6 AM to 8 PM.

Registering to Vote

You need to register to vote if your name or address has changed on the voter registry, you have not voted in the past four years, or this is your first time voting.
