COVID-19 Acknowledgement

COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. The City has enacted preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The City, however, cannot guarantee that guests of the facility rental will not become infected with COVID-19. Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19, park guests voluntarily assume the risk of being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by using the facility.

Renters must comply with all rules related to renting the facility including policies related to social distancing and personal hygiene to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19. If any unusual or significant hazard is observed during the facility rental, the permit holder will stop the event and immediately notify the nearest official.

The total number of attendees will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines in place at the time of the event, regardless of the posted capacity. Attendees will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.

Park Facility Reservations

Reservations for picnic shelters require a permit to avoid overbooking. Permits give park guests exclusive use of the shelter and must be carried with the permit holder on the day of the event.

Reservations are accepted first-come, first-served, and are available the first business day in January for the picnic shelter season; generally mid-May through early October.

Reserve a picnic shelter by calling 651-747-3860 or visiting Oakdale Recreation located at 4444 Hadley Avenue, during normal business hours. Rental fees are due at the time of reservation.

Persons, clubs, and organizations using city park facilities shall agree to indemnify the City of any and all damages by any person or persons attending the event and all damages to any persons or property.
