City to host Home Energy Workshop July 16

The summer heat is upon us! Not long ago you may have been looking at high heating bills from winter. As you might be noticing, it costs money to stay cool too. For most Minnesotans, summer brings the highest electricity bills of the year - typically due to air conditioning. Two local non-profit organizations, the Center for Energy and Environment and the Citizens Utility Board of Minnesota will be holding a workshop to help residents learn how to reduce household energy consumption.

Attend this workshop for a free one-on-one utility bill consultation from Citizen's Utility Board (5-6pm), and an educational presentation from CEE on home energy saving tips (6-7pm).
