A boat launch is available at Tanners Beach. Boat motors need to be operated at less than 10 horsepower.
City parks open half hour before sunrise and close half hour after sunset. Exceptions: lighted tennis courts, lighted ballfields, and lighted skating rinks, and organized sporting events.
Keg beer may be brought into parks (except Tanners Park) provided you have a permit from the city; permits are free of charge.

Leashed dogs and cats are allowed in City parks (except on Tanners Beach). Unleased dogs are allowed in the Oakdale Bark Park.
Pet owners are responsible for immediately collecting any waste created by the animal and disposing of the waste in a trash receptacle. Mutt Mitt dispensers are available at most City parks.
Permits for the bandshell, picnic shelters, ballfields, ice rinks, tennis courts, and basketball courts are available from the Recreation Department, 651-747-3860. Rental fees may apply.
